Actor Udo Kier returns to discuss “Swan Song“. Udo had been on Episode 660 back in March of this year with director Todd Stephens at their SxSW Film Festival premiere. Now the comedy is in theaters and streaming on various platforms. Kier portrays retired hairdresser Pat Pitsenbarger, who escapes the confines of his small-town Sandusky, Ohio nursing home after learning of his former client’s dying wish for him to style her final hairdo. Soon, Pat embarks on an odyssey to confront the ghosts of his past – and collect the beauty supplies necessary for the job. “Swan Song” is a comical and bittersweet journey about rediscovering one’s sparkle, and looking gorgeous while doing so. The film also stars Jennifer Coolidge and Linda Evans.

Actor/producer Griffin Dunne (“After Hours”, “Joan Didion: The Center Will Not Hold”) returns for his 3rd visit to the show (he was on Episodes 213 & 438), this time joined by director Michael Hoffman (“The Last Station”, “Restoration) to discuss their 2005 Sundance hit, “Game 6”. Nicky Rogan’s (Michael Keaton) new play is opening on Broadway and many agree — he’s written the best play his career. Or has he? Critic Steven Schwimmer (Robert Downey Jr.) is slated to review and he’s ruined many a playwright with his scathing words. Nicky is becoming concerned, but instead chooses to obsess over his Red Sox and their chances again the Mets in Game 6 of the 1986 World Series. Will the Sox and his play come crashing down on the same night? The film is currently available on streaming platforms.
