He is currently starring in the psychological drama "Shirley" directed by Filmwax friend Josephine Decker ("Madeline's Madeline"). Elisabeth Moss ("The Handmaid’s Tale") plays the famed horror author Shirley Jackson, married to her Stanley Hyman (Stuhlbarg) a Bennington College professor philandering husband. Rising stars Logan Lerman (Indignation, Fury) and Odessa Young play the young couple that move in with Shirley and Stanley in the hope of starting a new life but instead find themselves fodder for a psycho-drama that inspires Shirley’s next novel. She currently serves as the faculty chair at the Vermont College of Fine Arts Masters in Film department.
