The film is about a group of Syrian rebels who call themselves Raqqa is Being Slaughtered Silently, and who risk their lives to document the atrocities committed by ISIS in their homeland. The film is directed by Matthew Heineman (“Cartel Land”), distributed by Amazon Studios, and produced by Alex Gibney’s production company, Jigsaw Productions.
