Meet filmmaker Dave Carroll, producer Ryan Scafuro, and the subject of the film, strongman Chris “Wonder” Schoeck. The film is getting the Rooftop Films treatment with a free screening in Coney Island right on the beach on Monday, July 8th.
The other segment includes New York filmmaker Nathan Silver who has two new feature narratives, “Exit Elena” and “Soft in the Head”. Nathan is joined by his mom, Cindy Silver, who co-stars in “Exit Elena”. That film is having a theatrical engagement at reRun Theater in DUMBO beginning Friday, July 12th. We’re also joined by Filmwax Radio producer Betty Kaplan in this segment.
